Kings XI win over Mumbai

well the match yesterday was thought by many people is trivial and unnecessary both teams have got a chance to experiment and they did mumbai brought JP Duminy in as Sanath Jayasuriya is more than happy to entitle a new responsibility this time its not cricket its politics. He won the MP elections. He is out there for celebrations.
Back to cricket anyways Kings XI brought Adrian Bharath the T&T captain both clicked pretty well. Not the performances of the day, But you can't just ignore their part.
Maestro as usual was busy in piling up the runs in power play of the overs but he is not able to captilise the start he is getting, one should watch the way Ambati Rayudu today batted like a Caribbean players of course thanks to the influence of the ones like Bravo, Pollard.New guy ablish did the trick for the Kings as he denied the last over assault from the Indians.Six slower deliveries in the last over of the innings. Hats off to his audacity.
Kings XI batting started with the class of Bharath and the aggressiveness of Mahela who is in a different mood dealing in boundaries and once he departed Sanga took over and did the rest but in this win also there is woe of the form of Yuvi who struggled to make 15 from 21 deliveries but its at that point of time he seemed to be settled,he got out Hard luck and Irfan Pathan showed his increased skill as a batsman but it still needs him some more days and more consistency to get a selection into Indian Cricket Team.
Over all a comprehensive victory for Kings but I never saw glimpses of happiness in the face of Yuvraj Singh who might kicking himself for his poor performance

Chargers Unstoppables.....Unmovables......

I have been a die hard fan of Deccan Chargers. As I hail from Hyderabad (not actually but very close) it sometimes occurs to me that chargers are unstoppables no stopping them. When Gilly gets going there is no doubt about that but what if he is dismissed cheaply then the problem starts the chargers lacks the fireworks from the local players. Which is very important for the teams to get going but i still surprised of the fact that this is the team that won the IPL back in South Africa.
I also feel pity for VVS Laxman for the man of his class he is finding it difficult to find his way out through this format. The strength of the chargers is their foreign players but if the local players like Rohit Sharma, Suman, RP Singh, Venugopala Rao help and contribute for the team. Chargers can find themselves in much better place than what they are right now. I feel they are worth it. After all they are the defending Champions.

ipl this year

I saw this match between Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians. I was clearly surprised by the Bhajji applied himself and rose to the occasion. For a while i thought India may get one of Freddie, Oram sort but you never know Deccan Chargers miserably failed to keep wickets in tact. Hence the strategy of the teams would be get Gilly and your match is half done. But the positive perspect that DC want to see from this match is that good bowling performance of RP and Rohit, who were heroes of the last season and were responsible for the current status that team enjoys "Defending Champions". Thoroughly my knowledge of the IPL 3 seasons combined I rate this team as the most unpredictable team though it has stiff resistance from Shane Warne led Rajasthan Royals. These are the two that are able to lay their hands and carve their team names on the stone studded IPL trophy. regarding the season 3 i feel Mumbai and Bengaluru are the front runners. Hope Indian captain lays their hand on trophy atleast this season.
